Founded in 1960, Kanoria Chemicals & Industries Ltd. (KCI) is a leading manufacturer of chemical intermediates and specialties in India, with a focus on products for infrastructure and construction. Apart from chemicals, we have diversified business interests in automotive and industrial electronics and textiles.

KCI has a portfolio of seven products that find application in the infrastructure and construction industries, with market leadership in three and substantial shares in the others.
We operate three chemical manufacturing facilities, located at Ankleshwar (Gujarat), Visakhapatnam (north Andhra Pradesh) and Naidupeta (our newest facility, in south Andhra Pradesh). All our facilities have ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and RC 14001:2015 certifications.
Our plants operate with cutting edge technology, with a strong focus on process and product R&D. We are strategically located near ports and consumption centres to minimize logistics costs. This enables us to be a high quality, low cost manufacturer.
As it continues to expand its chemicals manufacturing business, KCI has diversified into other businesses areas.
In the year 2012, KCI acquired APAG Holding AG, based in Switzerland. APAG is engaged in development and manufacturing of electronic and mechatronic modules and control devices for the automotive, consumer goods, power tool electronics and building automation industries. The designing and engineering facility of the company is located in Switzerland, whereas the manufacturing facilities are located in the Czech Republic and in Canada.
In another diversification initiative, KCI incorporated a subsidiary company, Kanoria Africa Textiles Plc in Ethiopia, Africa, where it has set up a manufacturing plant to initially produce 12 million metres of Denim per annum.
