Product uses
In the manufacture of various acetates, acetyl compounds, cellulose acetate, acetate rayon, plastics and rubber, in tanning printing calico & dyeing silk; as preservative in foods; solvent for gums, resins, volatile oils.

Flammable, corrosive liquid. Causes serious burn and serve irritation to skin, eyes and respiratory system. Ingestion may cause burning of mouth and stomach, vomiting and loss of conscious.

After inhalation
Remove to fresh air, restore breathing.
After skin contact
Flush with plenty of water at least for 15-20 minutes. Remove and decontaminate soiled clothing before reuse. In case of severe burns, get medical attention.
After eye contact
Flush opened eye with plenty of running water for at least 15-20 minutes. Get medical attention.
After swallowing
Do not induce vomiting. If conscious, give water, milk or milk of magnesia.
